In a recent viral video, transgender cyclist Austin Killips, who was performing in the women’s category, pushed a female cyclist mid-race, which set social media on fire.

In response to the incident, the former veteran cyclist, Thompson, spatted her infuriating comments, stating, '....if a man had done that to another man, every official out there has told me, is an automatic disqualification. But it shows again the preference is going to the transgender women…'

The UCI took steps against the issue

Following the incident, the UCI prohibited transgender cyclists who transitioned from male puberty from performing in the women's category.
