Hikers Perish While Attempting Ascent on Active Volcano

Hiking trails are not only visually tempting but also luring enough to embark on the journey of ascending. It is hard to resist for adventure lovers to overlook the temptation. But sometimes, these ever-beautiful natural assets bring such destruction that can’t be measured by anything. Recently, the world has experienced a similar incident where four hikers succumbed to death followed by an accident during their accending.

The climbers were on an active volcano

Recently, four Mexican climbers surrendered to death while ascending to an active volcano, Pico de Orizaba, the highest mountain in the country. One slipped and fell while dragging the others with him during their climb.

The team is on a rescue mission

The four fell from a height of 16,400 feet on a rocky surface. Two of the four were recovered right on Sunday, and the other two were rescued on Monday around 4 a.m.

Pica de Orizaba experienced similar incidents

It isn't the first time the volcanic mountain has faced an accident; before this, a Bolivian trekker, Abraham Cruz, suffered a similar incident. However, the authorities attributed all the liabilities to the hiker at that time, claiming he wasn't carrying the required equipment.
