Unfortunate start of the season

Carl is a dedicated player and strives for a perfect start to the season. Unfortunately, he suffered a back injury during training in week 1, which led to him missing 70% of the play time. Carl took the setback positively, stating, "That's life, sometimes it hits you really fast."

Lawson's NFL journey has been marked with injuries. He missed the entire 2021 season due to a ruptured Achilles. Additionally, he had previously suffered two ACL tears.

Determined to give all

Despite the rumors, Carl remains undeterred and committed to making a significant impact with the Jets. He stated, “I’m a football player, not a cheerleader,” and plans to stay in top shape as long as he’s on the team.
