Skydiving Center Is Offering Thrilling ‘Ring of Fire’ Jump Experience

Skydive South Texas, a Port Aransas-based skydiving organization, came up with a one-of-a-kind thrill for adventure enthusiasts. The timing chosen by the organization adds an extra thrill to the already spine-tingling experience of skydiving. What’s so special about it? Let’s find out.

The annual ‘Ring of Fire’

The city of Texas will witness the annual solar eclipse, known as the 'Ring of Fire,' on October 14th, the same day as a scheduled skydive. Skydivers will perform an exhilarating leap from a high altitude during a four-minute window chosen by the organization.

Two lucky souls got the opportunity

According to reports, two lucky divers were among the many who will get to observe the eclipse from their celestial float. The chief pilot, Garrett Braddy, expressed his excitement, stating,"We didn't want to be stuck down here watching the eclipse like everybody else." This incredible opportunity is available for a package price of $750 per person.

Other skydiving options are also available

For those who prefer enjoying the solar eclipse with their family rather than above the clouds, the partial eclipse tour is available for $245, with take-off between 9 and 11 a.m.
