Teachers facing violence from the students isn’t a unique case in America. The throwback case of 2018, when Marston Riley, a music teacher at Maywood High School, experienced legal charges and humiliation following a brawl with his student. The video went viral to charge the teacher

A video footage shows that a student was arguing with the teacher, which instigated the teacher to throw a punch targeting his face. The 14-year-old student was spotted shouting at Riley; however, Riley became the one who got punishment.

Riley got serious charges

He was suspended from the school and was charged with a misdemeanor count for corporal injury as he punched the boy relentlessly. Additionally, many had vowed against him, stating that he was solely responsible for everything. Following the same, he got a bail of $50,000 and resigned with immediate effect.

The truth was yet to be unfolded

Gradually, it turned out that Riley charged the student for not wearing the uniform, which infuriated him. Later, he threw a basketball at Riley and uttered a racial statement, which surpassed the boundaries of Riley's patience.
