Williams talks about Rafael Nadal.

At the recent pre-tournament press conference, Serena Williams talked about a lot of things. At the end of her interview, a reporter asked her about Nadal’s achievements in 2022. In reply, she gave a really funny answer.

Serena Williams names her dog after Rafael Nadal.

“Yeah, he has done a lot in 2022. He’s been busy. I’ve always been a Rafa fan. My dog… I named my dog after him, so. So, obviously, I’m always rooting for Rafa… he’s been really inspiring in everything he has done this year and he has a lot more to do.” the American legend said.

Serena's comeback.

Serena Williams recently made a comeback after a long hiatus of almost 1 year. She played Eastbourne doubles, partnering with Ons Jabeur. However, their campaign was cut short because of an unfortunate knee injury to Jabeur.

Serena is getting a feel of the Centre Court at the Wimbledon Championships.

Although world no.1 Iga Swiatek is going to open the match proceedings on Tuesday at the Centre Court, Serena will most probably play all of her matches on Centre Court as well.
