As Rhea Ripley was forced to forfeit her WWE Women’s World Championship because of an injury, WWE staged a 14-woman battle royale to crown a new champion on WWE Raw this week. Becky Lynch added to her growing list of honors as she emerged triumphant in the main event of Raw.

But while they build Lynch’s story as a champion, the WWE might be planning something else for Liv Morgan. She recently locked eyes with Dominik Mysterio, possibly hinting at her inclusion into an angle with The Judgment Day. And it seems like a pro wrestling veteran wanted the WWE to solidify it further by adding another element to the stare-down.

Bully Ray bemoans the lack of dialogue in the Dominik Mysterio-Liv Morgan segment during Raw

In the latest edition of the Busted Open podcast, Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca talked about the possible plans the WWE might have for Liv Morgan. One prominent theory that came up was Liv Morgan being a part of The Judgment Day. This theory follows the recent backstage segment where Mysterio and Morgan simply stare at each other. However, Bully Ray believed that the WWE should’ve played more with the segment, adding a bit of gender psychology.

He said, “I would have loved to hear Liv say ‘Hello Dominic.’ I would have loved to have heard Liv say Dominic’s name and then they would have went off. Just it’s just that little added something where you could because they both looked mad and they both looked mean. And they both looked aggressive.”

Bully Ray continued, “I would have loved to have heard one little thing from her that kind of eased the tension. And Dave men like it when a woman says their name. And women like it when you (men) say their name. It’s just human nature. So it’s her kind of ingratiating herself to him ‘Hello Dominic’.

The fans surely would be interested in seeing the former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion take center stage in proceedings. And what better than a feud with Mami when she returns? The Eradicator will look for revenge as Morgan caused her injury, and also because the 29-year-old could have dug her claws into The Judgment Day and even Dom-Dom’s affairs. But we wonder how that will pay out for the eternal runner-up.

Liv Morgan and her streak of coming second

As for now, it seems Lic Morgan is destined to come in second.  In the last 15 months, the 29-year-old has placed second in the 2023 and 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble matches to highlight her agonizing luck. During the Elimination Chamber PLE, Liv Morgan finally looked to take a step toward realizing her dream in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

In a bout that had several blockbuster names such as Bianca Belair, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Becky Lynch cueing up against her, the WWE star looked so close to emerging triumphant after she eliminated Belair to set up an intriguing finale. However, Lynch used her vast experience to quickly overcome Morgan and punch her ticket to WrestleMania 40. More recently, the Raw star also emerged as the finalist in the battle royale to determine the new champion. However, ‘The Man’ again proved a foil to her grand ambitions.

However, despite these repeated losses, Liv Morgan continues to move forward. Morgan now also seems even more determined to fulfill her mission to get revenge on Ripley, the same person who (in the story) left her on the shelf for six months. What do you think about her future prospects? Do you agree with Bully Ray’s suggestion that more should have been done to further her dynamic with Dominik Mysterio? Do you think she could fill the void left behind by Mami? Let us know in the comments.
