No former pro wrestler is to be messed around with. All of them made sure to establish a reputable stature for themselves and it shows. This is especially true for the legendary ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. Throughout history, the former heavyweight champion of WWE has proven that he is a tough man. Whether in the ring or off-stage, nobody would ever want to mess around with Austin. He has established a respectful name for himself in the world of sports entertainment as well as the outer media. People across the world have developed a huge sense of respect for the ex-pro wrestler. It goes without doubt that such a circumstance would give even the highest people a lack of humility. However, Austin never shows that lack. But at times, the circumstances created can get the calmest of people on their nerves. Such a day was witnessed by our favorite, ‘Stone Cold’ once.

While the former pro wrestler was called for an interview, he still ended up feeling humiliated for the same. The footage that went viral looks pretty promising that he is not playing around. Rather, the legend looks pretty angered at the media team provided at the event. Especially the interviewer that was assigned to him. Things between the interviewer and ‘Stone Cold’ got heated up real quick. “You flew me all the way out here, now you’re gonna bring me backstage and treat me like a ‘jabroni’,” said Steve Austin.

‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ left behind an incredible legacy after his retirement. While doing so, he also expected the same in return. However, he was very disappointed when he did not get what he wanted from the current generation of WWE. When the interview that he was present for in WWE, he lashed out at the reporter, who was trying to keep his calm during the scene. After stating the obvious, “Do you know who you’re talking to?” ‘Stone Cold’ went on to add his greatest achievements in WWE: “I actually drew money, I actually was the world heavyweight champion. I won 3 Royal Rumble.”

Even by the end, Steve Austin made an angry remark at the reporter by saying, “I’m sure everybody back home is proud of you, but you’re just a piece of trash in my eyes.” The management of the event that the media personality witnessed got on his nerves. Although till the very end, Mike, the reporter, kept his cool, there is no doubt that he was baffled as soon as Austin left the set. However, fans should not make a judgment based on one side of the story.

Why was Steve Austin so ‘Stone Cold’ with his words?

The only explanation for this lies in the fact that Austin was not properly interviewed. This may not sound like a big deal, but he mentioned that he specifically flew over to the 25th anniversary of Raw as per the invitation. Despite the effort that he made for just one interview, the reporter only asked him one question. “You need to go back to your house and do your homework ’cause the next time Stone Cold Steve Austin shows up, I want a proper interview, proper camera time, proper mic time,” shouted an angry Austin.
