Devin Booker is all set to play in his career’s 4th All-Star Game tomorrow night. After missing the All-Star Game last season, the Phoenix Suns superstar got selected as a Western Conference Reserve this year for his incredible performance. Despite his busy All-Star weekend schedule, Booker decided to go on a side quest during his free time in Indianapolis.
The Suns guard was roaming the streets of Indiana earlier today and went live on Instagram to promote the launch of his new Nike signature shoes. Booker was carrying a fresh pair of his Nike D Book 1s and left them in an alleyway for his fans to find. “Finders Keepers Bro.” Booker said as he fled the scene immediately because of the snowy weather in the city. So, one lucky fan will get his hands on Nike and Booker’s latest collaboration if they venture out in the snow.

Nike announced the release of Booker’s first signature shoes last year. However, the shoes were made available to the masses during the All-Star Weekend. Booker’s unique basketball shoes are designed keeping a combination of lifestyle aesthetics and performance functionality in mind. That makes D Book 1 one of the few signature shoes that can be worn on multiple occasions.

The shoe is heavily influenced by several classic Nike sneakers, including the Air Force 1, the Air Jordan 1, and the Nike Blazer. To add to the unique design, the D Book 1s come with a Cushlon 2.0 midsole and a Nike Zoom unit in the heel for better bounce. Booker called the shoe a “future classic” before the release. As all eyes are on Indiana this weekend due to the All-Star buzz, Booker and Nike’s unique launch strategy could do wonders for the new signature shoes.
Devin Booker will be ready to play on Sunday night
Apart from Booker’s strategy to leave his Nike signature shoes for fans to find, his performance tomorrow night could help boost the launch of the D Book 1s. Booker will play in Sunday’s All-Star game and will most likely wear his signature shoes for the event. If he plays great and guns for the All-Star game MVP trophy, that would put a lot of eyeballs on his new signature shoes. Booker’s skills on the court could significantly affect the sales of his first signature shoes.
