Askren was the NCAA Division Collegiate National Champion of 2006 and 2007. He was also a 4x Finalist in the  NCAA Division I

USA Wrestling

Askren competed in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Askren reached the quarter-finals but was unable to secure a medal at the Olympics 

Bellator Champion

Askren became the Bellator welterweight champion in October 21, 2010. He was also the longest reigning Bellator welterweight champion (total 1,120 days).

ONE Championship

Askren became the ONE Championship welterweight champion in August 29, 2014. He was also the longest reigning welterweight champion in ONE Championship (total 1517 days).

Disc Golf Career

Askren's biggest accomplishments in this sport include ninth-place finishes in the 2009 and 2011 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships and a second-place finish in the 2011 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship.
