The amount already seems to be around $1 million and in a recent interaction, Jake Paul vowed to increase the fight purse if Askren wins the fight. In a conversation with Snoop Dogg, ‘The Problem Child’ spoke out his mind.

“If you are confident you are gonna beat me. If you win, I will double your purse. I will pay you double your purse. If you lose, you will have to pay all your purse to a charity of my choice,” said Jake Paul.

This will leave Askren with a 50/50 chance of bagging a lucrative payday, but the former UFC star has seemingly accepted the offer wholeheartedly. Meanwhile, there are separate star believers in each other’s corner. Hence, it further intensifies the upcoming battle.

Relying on Askren’s pro-fighting experience, UFC’s chief Dana White backed ‘Funky’ to defeat Paul inside the ring. He appeared on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast and even claimed that he would bet a million dollars on Askren’s win. While several fans have hesitated to back Ben Askren, White revealed his faith in his former employee.

Meanwhile, rapper Snoop Dogg urged Dana White to double up the number and put $2 million on the plate, as he backed up Jake Paul to win. The rapper, who seemed to have analyzed both men’s fighting styles, believes that Paul will vanquish Askren.

As both men have their fair share of believers in the corner, they will pour it all in the ring, paving the way for an intriguing contest. Could Askren have his purse doubled, or will he have to donate his earnings to Paul’s choice of charity?
