In 2019 a Tweet from FiveM revealed Rockstar Games has added Nintendo Switch to supported platforms for its proprietary RAGE engine.
After the first-ever rumor Kotaku claimed a Resmastered is planned but its release would depend on the success of GTA Remastered Trilogy.
Although the trilogy launched and crashed and Insider TezFunz2 claimed the underperforming trilogy tool Red Dead Remastered and GTA IV remastered with it.
A while later though Red Dead Remastered was rated in South Korea, hailing a possible future launch of that title.
Finally, the last big piece of information dropped when someone uncovered that Rockstar has quietly altered the game's logo on its official website. Some even noticed the addition of Nintendo Switch to game's platforms.
