Missed Opportunity: Ferrari Should Have Paid Newey

Red Bull's F1 success hinges on strategic hiring and mentorship by Adrian Newey. Meanwhile, Ferrari's struggles expose their failure to secure Newey's expertise. Former Ferrari manager Peter Windsor suggests they should've invested 1 billion Euro, ($1.070 billion) four years ago.

Peter Windsor's Expert Opinion

Windsor believes it's too late for Ferrari to attract Newey, given his age and reluctance to endure the hassles of a move. Windsor said, “Ferrari should have paid Adrian 1 billion Euros ($1.070 billion) 4 years ago and now they’d be winning Grands Prix and championships and everyone be happy.”
