Alex Rodriguez, Who Made a Majority of His Millions Through Real Estate, Takes a Dramatic U-Turn

Alex Rodriguez spent 22 seasons in the MLB after the Seattle Mariners signed him at the age of 18. Although he earned a great deal of money from playing baseball, he got into the business world, especially in real estate. He earned millions from real estate after making big investments. However, he recently took a U-turn. 

How did A-Rod get into real estate?


When A-Rod got his first salary as a teenager, he bought a couple of Rolex watches. When he decided to enter the business world, he was short of money. Hence, he sold those Rolex watches and bought his first real estate. Later, he also founded the billion-dollar investment firm, A-Rod Corp.

Real estate was A-Rod’s biggest investment till now. Apart from that, he also made investments in 30 other companies, which are worth $1 billion.

A-Rod recently appeared on the podcast called ‘20 VC with Harry Stebbings’, where he said, “I think our strategy on continuing to buy real estate assets, I basically put a pause on everything, and we’re sitting back and just watching and seeing where the FED goes within streets.”
