After playing 22 seasons in MLB, Alex Rodriguez has certainly created a big legacy for himself. However, his legacy in the business world is equally relevant. He has made plenty of investments in business over the years. Recently, he talked about taking inspiration from baseball into the business world.

A-Rod’s investments

In 1995, Rodriguez founded the A-Rod Corp. Since then, his organization made investments in real estate, construction, high-end fitness centers, automotive dealerships, and many more. Recently, he invested heavily in the NBA team, Minnesota Timberwolves, where he owns a 20% stake.

Rodriguez’s different approach to business

Although A-Rod hit 696 home runs in his career, his approach to business is different. In a recent interview with David Rubenstein of Bloomberg, he said, “I am a very-very careful investor. While I liked home runs and grand slams in baseball. Here, At A-Rod Corp, we shoot for singles and doubles, and we definitely, never wanna strike out.”
