Jimmy Fallon, Who Boasts a Healthy $60 Million Net Worth, Reveals How a $4,000 Bill Made a Lifelong Derek Jeter Memory in Just 20 Minutes

During his career as a baseball superstar, Derek Jeter met and became friends with many celebrities and idols. Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is one of those close friends. Jeter and Fallon have known each other for nearly two decades, having first met when the Yankee star was rising.

Fallon’s $4000 outing with Jeter

While on The View, Fallon said, “I went to a club with Derek Jeter, I don’t go to clubs. And so I go to a club and there’s this thing called bottle service. Where you sit at a table, they bring you bottles and you pour your own cocktails, and you pay extra money for this.”

Jimmy picks up the bill

“I didn’t even quite understand this, I’m sitting there for about 20 minutes. Derek goes to the bathroom, I go ‘I’m gonna leave guys, I’ll I’ll pay for this’. But everyone was grabbing my hand like slow motion like, ‘No. Don’t. He’s a New York Yankee, he makes so much more money than you.’ I go, ‘I, I can handle this’. So, I get the bill. The bill, I’m not kidding, is like $4000. I was there for 20 minutes!”

Jimmy played a Red Sox fan

Jimmy Fallon is a famous talk show host and has acted in some movies as well. For the movie Fever Pitch, that released in 2005, he played the character of Ben a Boston Red Sox superfan. It was difficult for Fallon, considering his status as a New York Yankees fan and the fabled Yankees-Red Sox rivalry.
