North Wilkesboro Speedway, the track loved by the fans and the drivers will soon reopen its gates for NASCAR All-Star Race in May 2023. Having already given his best efforts in helping with the revival of the racetrack, Dale Jr recently announced one more revival. His recent tweet featured a collaboration that took fans on a trip down memory lane.
Sundrop, the company which sponsored Dale Sr’s #3 Chevrolet and also was among the first ones to sponsor Junior, has planned to make its way back into NASCAR by signing a multi-year agreement. Following the collaboration, Junior tweeted a video of limited-edition Sundrop cans, portraying Dale Jr on one side and the iconic #3 on the other.
It is a throwback to 1989 when the company came signed a sponsorship agreement with Dale Sr. Sundrop’s popularity in the southeast, coupled with the Intimidator’s appeal, made the collaboration a huge success.
Judging by the comments to Junior’s post, it seems that the collaboration with Sundrop is going to be a huge success.
