NASCAR fans attending the recent race at Martinsville Speedway were in for a surprise when a man dressed in full Dale Earnhardt Sr. attire made his way through the crowds. However, fans soon found his presence to be unnerving and referred to him as ‘creepy.’
In a recent post uploaded on Reddit, a fan shared a photo of a Dale Earnhardt lookalike who was seen making rounds in the grandstands at the Martinsville Cup Race. The man’s uncanny resemblance to the legendary driver had many fans doing a double-take and taking to social media to share their shock and disbelief.
The man, whose identity is unknown, was seen sporting Earnhardt’s signature mustache, sunglasses, black hat, as well as a replica of his iconic black and red racing suit. He was reportedly making rounds in the crowd, posing for photos and attracting attention.
Several Fans reacted fervently to the doppelgänger, “He’s there like every race and Charlotte too. It’s a little creepy,” said one fan. Others expressed frustration with the man’s behavior, “Creep.
