Richard Childress and Kyle Busch just held a press conference where the former announced the confirmation of Kyle Busch to be racing for his team from 2023 onwards. During the same conference, Childress also compared Busch to the likes of seven-time NASCAR Cup Champion Dale Earnhardt Sr.
A reporter asked Childress why he chose Kyle Busch. To which he replied by saying, “A driver who has won two championships in the Cup Division, over 200 races in NASCAR, his credentials speaks well for himself.”
“I’d seen that look in Dale Earnhardt Sr’s eyes.” He also stated, “I think Kyle Busch has that modern-day style that Dale Earnhardt had.”
