long before we knew kyle larson for what we know him for today for-as arguably the best racing drivers in the country, we knew him as a rising star. but it wasn't that he wasn't winning races back then. and also, his wife wasn't celebrating in the way we know her for today.
Katelyn Larson, Kyle Larson's wife has a very peculiar way of celebrating her husband winning a race. She takes a can of beer and shotguns it, every time Kyle Larson wins.
The first time the world noticed this was back in 2019, when Larson won his 100th race at Dover
He reacted to the video saying "oh no, they got it on camera"
“That’s great," He said as he laughed. "She’s right over there, in her phone. She’s gotten some fame from shotgunning beers. We’ve just been holding off on the win so she could shotgun one.”
But when it came to Kyle, he kept it real and said “I can shotgun a White Claw. But, I sure as heck cant shotgun a beer.”
