Josh Williams recently announced the unfortunate demise of his “friend and brother,” Zach Gocher, as he penned a heartfelt note for him and the NASCAR community came out in support to share in his grief.
“I will miss you buddy each day and I make a promise to you we will get more wins more championships and keep building bad ass race cars in your memory!! Love you Zach I’ll meet you at the finish line some day!”
One part of Williams’ note for his best friend’s passing mentioned how “everyone loved Zach in the racing community.” This point is worth mentioning because the outpour of tributes and love after his passing from the NASCAR community stood as a testament to the point Josh Williams made.
Josh’s Atlanta incident ensured that he got handed a one-race suspension but it also ensured that he got a fitting sponsor for his team. Parking Guidance Systems, LLC recently announced they’d be sponsoring Williams #92 and his teammate’s #91 racecar.
