The stage was almost set for Bubba Wallace as he looked to secure another win at the iconic Talladega Super Speedway. But instead of things ending with him cruising to victory, they took a turn for the worse as the 23Xl Racing driver crashed in the final laps of the race.

What happened?

With Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney leading the pack, the battle at the front was getting heated. Wallace denied the incoming #12 any space to overtake, blocking him on 2 occasions, one when Blaney tried to squeeze in from the inside while the next attempt sealed the deal for the 29-year-old driver after which he crashed.

Bubba fails to secure a win


Even though the Team Penske driver managed to hold his position, his frustrations grew as the race neared its closing laps. Soon, Bubba Wallace tried the old trick again in the final laps, but this time, Blaney had seen enough of it and rear-ended the #23, ending his promising run!

With Bubba out of the contest over a rather petty move, fans really criticized him. Angered fans trolled the driver while some even asked the NBA great, Michael Jordan to fire Wallace!
