While Tyler Reddick was the hero of the COTA race, Ross Chastain is slowly getting tagged as the villain. It had everything to do with the incident involving Daniel Suarez. Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch had his say on it recently, after which the media left no stone unturned to instigate a war between him and Chastain.
Kyle Busch, the runner-up of the race, gave a post-race interview on the pit lane. It was then that Chastain passed by and Busch pointed toward him and taunted, “Somebody else [who] doesn’t know anything about clean over here.”
A NASCAR media representative pushed Chatain to respond to Busch’s comments. To this, the 30-year-old responded that Busch should “mention that to me personally”.
While fans enjoy the drama, they were highly critical of the NASCAR media representative who was behind the Busch–Chastain comments.
