During a media session after the Bucks' season-ending loss, a reporter asked Giannis Antetokounmpo if he considered the season a failure. The question triggered him, as the same reporter had asked him the same thing last year, causing him to snap.
Giannis Antetokounmpo defends himself
After snapping at a reporter's question about Milwaukee's season, Giannis Antetokounmpo questioned the concept of failure, citing Michael Jordan's career.
After getting a hold of himself, Antetokounmpo went into further detail. “Michael Jordan played 15 years, and won six championships. The other nine years was a failure?” asked a boiling Giannis to the reporter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo's Humble Perspective
Despite a tough loss, Giannis Antetokounmpo remains humble, acknowledging that success requires effort each season, and already has his sights set on winning again next year.
He believes “some days it’s your turn, some days it’s not your turn.”
“Hopefully we can win another one,” said Antetokounmpo.
