LeBron James, Kevin Durant, & More: Injury Riddled NBA Players 2021 Season Edition

With the Covid pandemic being a challenge in itself, the NBA teams are also struggling to keep their players healthy.
In fact, every team has some or the other player injured. The only difference is, some have been hit harder by the injury plague than others. 
Let's look at some of the players who are out of action indefinitely in 2021.

Jusuf Nurkic

Portland Trail Blazers Jusuf Nurkic has been out for quite long after he broke his wrist when playing the Indiana Pacers in January. However, the good news is that he is expected to be back in April.

Andre Drummond

Drummond isn't injured but he is yet to be traded to another team. He has a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers that they won't play him until there is a destination for him.

LaMelo Ball's broken wrist is bound to derail his Rookie of the Year award and is expected to remain out for the remainder of the season. This also might affect Charlotte Hornet's chances of making it to the playoffs.

The New York Knicks Derrick Rose is out because of the Covid-19 protocols of the league. He should be cleared to return to the court by next week.

Anthony Davis

An injury thought to be very minor has kept Davis out of the lineup for a month now. He missed the All-Star game and is out all of March as well. He could be out longer to ensure a careful return.

Patrick Beverley

Beverley has been out for quite some time now and the LA Clippers don't seem to suffer a lot because of it. But he is one of the best defenders in the league and having him back will be an asset.

Giannis has a benign sprained knee and will be back with the Milwaukee Bucks soon.

Kevin Durant's situation is like Davis. It seemed like he would be out for just two games and has now been out for over a month because of his harmstring. He is also not returning anytime soon.

LeBron James suffered a major ankle injury when playing the Atlanta Hawks and there is no way the Lakers will risk bringing him back until he is completely fit and ready to play in the playoffs.
