Michael Jordan played guard for North Carolina, with a height of 6-6.
He played three seasons at North Carolina, from the 1981-82 season to the 1983-84 season.

After Jordan's three seasons with the team, the team went 88-13. Jordan's freshman season marked the fourth time in school history for a freshman to start a game.

In addition to that, Michael Jordan's career was advancing and the basketball world was getting a new star as he ranked fourth on Knoxville newspaper reporter Ken Mink's top-100 rankings of the nation's best high school players.

Jordan won a national championship with North Carolina when he was a freshman in 1982.
