The Phoenix Suns hosted the LA Clippers in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals with hopes of entering the NBA Finals for the first time since 1993.
But the LA Clippers' resilience prevented that from happening and Paul George helped secure a 116-102 win which has landed the series at 3-2.

The Clippers came out with all guns blazing, knowing too well their playoff life was on the line. All five of their starters were scoring and jumped to an 18-5 lead. But the highlight was Reggie Jackson's emphatic dunk.

If it weren't for Marcus Morris Sr. dropping 13 points with six shots from the field, the Clippers wouldn't have gotten their big first quarter lead.

The Suns weren't sitting back and taking the punches from the Clippers. After Cameron Payne capped a Suns 9-0 run, the deficit was cut down to 25-21.

The Clippers weren't having it and took back another vital lead of 10 points and the second quarter ended with the score of 36-26.

The series continued to be a chasing game for the Suns trying to catch up to the Clippers. They were able to cut the lead to just two points again, as Mikal Bridges finds Cam Johnson to secure a 12-0 run.

The Clippers led 59-52 at halftime with four of their players finishing in double-digits. But it was Booker's buzzer in the dying seconds of the second quarter which was worth the watch. Booker finished the first half with 19 points.

PG exploded with 20 points to ensure the Clippers maintain their control over the game. It was his 15 points in just the third quarter that helped them grab a 13 point lead heading into the fourth.

Booker responded to Paul George's lethal buckets with six of his own quick points that got Phoenix Suns' at arm's length again, trailing by 7 points. With 9 minutes left for Game 5 to end, Booker had 31 points of his own.

In the end, the Suns just couldn't handle Playoff P. He had arguably the best nights of his career in a vital game as he finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal. 20 of these points came in the third quarter alone. Hence, leading the Clippers to a 116-102 win.
