Any celebrity with multi-colored hair, tattoos, and piercings all over is something one would consider normal these days. But back in the 90s, five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman completely defied what was expected of him as a superstar athlete, and helped blur the lines of different looks a gender can don that set the stage for normalcy in 2020. So, let's celebrate him today and look at his most iconic outfits that would completely slay today!
Before his experimental stage began, he was part of the 'Bad Boy Pistons' and won two titles back to back in 1989-90 with them. He truly believed they would bag another championship, so he got the word 'TRILOGY', shaved on the back of his head. However, they lost to the Chicago Bulls in the finals but the confidence never died.

After some personal struggles with depression, Rodman moved to the San Antonio Spurs for a fresh start. It was then he debuted his bleach blonde look, inspired by Wesley Snipes in the film 'Demolition Man'. At the time, he was dating Madonna, who helped him be true to himself and pushed him further with his style choices.

Rodman's support for the LGBTQ community was something the NBA had never seen before. He was often criticized for manipulating that lifestyle to give a boost to his popularity. But he clapped back at the VMA red carpet when he showed up in sequin vest with a red ribbon to support cancer awareness.

Rodman was supposed to make an appearance for his autobiography signing at a paparazzi-packed fifth avenue. So, he took this opportunity to wear a full-length bridal dress paired with a blonde wig with a veil. He simply said he wanted to marry himself. And if that's not self-love, then what is?

At the peak of his career, Rodman decided to experiment with his hairspray and showed up at 'The Late Show with David Letterman' all decked up with green hair, Oakly wraparound, and a silver choker. Billie Elish, much?

Being a part of Hollywood was a milestone of success for an NBA player in the 90s. While MJ's 'Space Jam' was a big hit, Dennis starred as a weapons dealer alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in Double Team. The tight pants and deep neck west was hated back then but this is definitely an inspirational look to many these days.

In what was considered their last season together, Pippen had missed all of the first half because of an injury. So, Rodman had to step up to fill his void. But when Scottie returned, Dennis humbly took a step back and to show that there were no grudges, he did the extreme and got Pippen's Number 33 dyed all over his hair. It looked like a leopard print on his hair.
