Packers Universe Goes Through Roller Coaster of Emotions After Breaking Up With Aaron Rodgers


After playing 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers will play for another franchise in the new season. Earlier, he posted a long love note with some fantastic memories starting from his Draft day to winning the Super Bowl. After seeing his post, many Packers fans got emotional, as they say goodbye to an absolute legend. 

Rodgers’ era finally ends


Packers picked Rodgers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft as the 24th overall pick. He played 18 seasons with Green Bay and won MVP 4 times. In 2011, he won the Super Bowl and the Super Bowl MVP. The 10x Pro-Bowler will play for the Jets in the 2023 season, as the Packers traded him. 



Rodgers’ emotional post

Earlier, Rodgers took to Instagram and posted some pictures from his time as Packer. He wrote, “I’m not sure it’s possible to fully express the gratitude that I have to the @packers, our incredible fans, the state of Wisconsin, the thousands of players that I crossed paths with… I grew up in Green Bay, drafted at 21, fell in love with the game, met some lifelong friends… This is not the end for us, I will see you again Green Bay, you’ll always have my heart.”

After seeing Rodgers’ post, one fan wrote, “Sad to see you go.” Another user called him the “Goat.” One more user joked, “Just dont go play for the vikings after a year or 2 in new york…” On the other hand, many Jets fans are welcoming him with open arms, as one user wrote, “Welcome to NY bro. We are so pumped to have you!!”
