Every running back in the NFL dreams of getting paired up with their ideal quarterback. Defense and the running game have been the defining aspects of any championship-caliber team. However, the offense needs to be fluid, thus emerges the role of a highly effective signal caller. And, in search of a Super Bowl-winning QB, this talented running back has finally made his choice.

While names such as Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Jalen Hurts have established their dominance when it comes to the quarterback position, choosing either one is still a tall task. A similar scenario was presented to one of the most sought-after RBs leading up to the 2023 NFL draft, and the young phenom seemed rather confident with his choice.

Hurts over Mahomes?

The last couple of NFL drafts haven’t been the best possible outcome for RBs. However, all that could change as Bijan Robinson is touted as one of the few to look out for. Coming out of an impressive sophomore season that fringed on a Heisman candidacy, Robinson is expected by many to find a seat among the top-10 draft prospects for 2023. With Robinson’s athletic capabilities, most NFL executives have been busy trying to figure out the perfect QB to pair the young phenom with.

After thinking for a good second, Robinson replied, “There’s a lot of great quarterbacks. Jalen Hurts”

Philadelphia Eagles have the 10th and 30th picks going into the 2023 NFL draft. The general consensus is one of Robinson getting picked up by the Eagles and pairing him up with their leader Jalen Hurts. The Buccaneers have also been in the conversation for acquiring Bijan Robinson, but maybe his affinity for Hurts will tip the scale in Philly’s favor.

Another addition to the Eagles?

Bijan Robinson has been in contact with the Philadelphia Eagles and enlightened the world about those interactions.

“It (the meeting) was great, great. Just even, building relationships with the coaches, the support staff, the GM, like even the janitor. It was an awesome visit,” he said.

Robinson prides himself on building interpersonal relationships and based on his recent accounts, the young up-and-comer has already done so with the Eagles. Most NFL mock drafts have Robinson going at number 10 to the Philadelphia Eagles, but there still seems to be something missing. Let’s face it, the Eagles are clearly interested, otherwise, why would they invite Robinson to a top-30 visit? But it still doesn’t guarantee anything. Just like most avid NFL fans, Bijan Robinson also has his eyes set on Thursday, as he takes one step closer to his dream of being drafted.
