"Welcome to mediocrity": Richard Sherman has Strong Feelings Towards Jordan Love Being Branded as Aaron Rodgers' Successor

After months of speculation, Aaron Rodgers’ trade finally happened and we will see him in a Jets jersey in the 2023 season. Meanwhile, Jordan Love will be upgraded as the QB1 after Rodgers’ departure. Former Seahawks cornerback, Richard Sherman is not very happy with this move by the Packers. 


Aaron Rodgers’ move to the Jets

After a terrible last season, Aaron Rodgers’ position with Green Bay was under serious scrutiny. During the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers talked about his deteriorating relationship with the Packers' front office. Hence, he openly expressed his desire to play for the Jets. After that, the Packers traded him to the Jets. 


Jordan Love is the new QB1

In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Packers picked Love in round 1 as a 26 overall pick. Since then, he has been waiting for his chance, while Rodgers was at the helm. In 2021, he made his debut against the Saints and later he made his first start against the Chiefs. Last year, he did not play significant minutes. It will be interesting to see how he performs in this upcoming season.
