Conor McGregor Takes Khabib's Advice to Train at the Big Bear

The Irishman is getting ready with his preparations for the upcoming fights and this time he has chosen something that Khabib has been advising for a very long time. What is it? Let's find out.

Conor McGregor recently tweeted that he will begin his training camp in another location at a higher altitude as he is preparing for his fights later in the year.

What?

The Irishman's choice of location for his next training camp is the Big Bear Lake in Southern California. It is situated in San Bernardino County and is at the height of seven thousand feet above sea level.

What Location Did
McGregor Choose?

Training at a location like Big Bear is different from training normally as it is located at an elevation of over 6,000 feet. The air over that height is thin and the oxygen levels are lower than at sea level which makes training at Big Bear tougher than training at lower elevations.

Why Training at Big
Bear is Tough?

Fighters like Khabib used to train on the mountains of Dagestan and have spoken about the benefits of training at a higher altitude multiple times like how the body works harder to get the same amount of oxygen and therefore produces more red blood cells.
