In recent events, Khamzat Chimaev and Kamaru Usman exchanged a few words that signalled their potential fight. But as nothing is official so far, there are other fighters eyeing to battle.
Khamzat Chimaev is looking for a new opponent if Usman’s deal doesn’t come through. Whereas Shavkat Rakhmonov is also searching for an opponent to make his future fight happen. Both 'Borz' and 'Nomad' are undefeated in professional MMA. The to and fro between the fighters on social media shows their interest in facing each other.
‘Nomad’ shared a video of himself shooting in an open field. He captioned the post, “Khamzat Chimaev” (followed by a bulls-eye emoji). He also left a comment which read, “Khamzat Chimaev sign and talk.”
'Borz' was quick to respond to Rakhmonov by making a quick direct comment, he wrote, “You want to retired early?”
