Watch: Tony Ferguson Claims to Go on Bear Tracking Only With His “Blades”



Discover Tony Ferguson talking about his mission to hunt a bear. The UFC fighter, who has to his credit an unbeaten 12 matches streak, talked about how he tracked a bear when he was with his wife and kids, understandably, in the mountains. Ferguson is set to face Bobby Green at UFC 291. He would want to reverse his five matches back-to-back losses. But before that Ferguson appears to be battling the things with bears as well.

While talking to the media, Tony Ferguson said that he tracked a bear. When asked about the weapon he was carrying, he said, “blades and shades.”


He further said that how he had a responsibility to avert any danger to his family. 


While narrating the bear adventure, he tried to be funny as well.

How did the fans react to the 'revelation'?



Fans didn’t seem to be convinced with the story. A fan wrote, "A knife would barely even penetrate a bear’s skin." Another wrote, "It's a metaphor for Khabib ducking him." One posted, "Have a feeling he's going to end up like Chris Benoit or something. Truly sad." Another commented,"Blades and shades has got to be the most bad ass line to never be included in a Steven Seagal movie."
