“Brain Was Pulling Me From..”: Unable to Spell His Own Name, Surfing Champ Barely Made It Out of Near-Death Experience

Wipeouts under large swells can be fatal to surfers. However, if the surfer survives these wipeouts, the worst nightmares are the spinal and brain injuries that rip apart the person's soul. In a similar incident, surfer Billy Kemper shared his near-death experience post-wipeout in the second part of his documentary, A Doomed Winter.

A life-threatening accident
