Billabong, the event that once had a worth of 4 Billion USD and Quiksilver are ready for a buyout that has created a crossover of soccer and basketball with surfing. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and English soccer player David Beckham will be riding the billion dollars in the surfing industry through a new buyout.

According to Bloomberg, Authentic Brands Group and surf label Volcom have succeeded in acquiring Boardriders Inc, on which big shots like Vans and Bluester Alliance were keeping their eye.

Boardriders Inc., the owner of Billabong, Quiksilver, and RVCA, is being acquired by 'Authentic', which also owns the David Beckham and Shaquille O'Neal labels, among other hotshots.
