Shocking Visuals Showed Surfer Eaten Alive by Tiger Shark Once During Friend’s Rescue Attempt

Tiger shark attacks on humans are rare. However, these attacks are the second most common after the attacks of great white sharks. Surfers like Mick Fanning also suffered a shark attack while competing in the 2005 WSL. In a similar incident, the ruthless tiger shark took two lives that filled the surfing community with the horror of these predators.

According to a video on the YouTube channel Final Affliction, a young man named Jack Brinkley hand was eaten by a tiger shark while he tried to save his friend Norman from its attack.


When and where did the incident happen?

The horrifying incident happened on October 27, 1937 evening at Kiarra beach, near the Gold Coast, Australia.

What happened to the surfer?

Jack, along with his friend, died in this horrible accident. Norman's remains were found on the beach while Jack died in hospital the next day of the incident.

When the attacking female tiger shark was captured afterward, Norman's hand was found in her belly after it was cut open.
