Surfer Mark Rapley, who was enjoying surfing with his wife, Chantelle Doyle, fought bravely with the shark that clenched her wife's calf.

As soon as the Shark grasped Chantelle, Mark rushed towards the shark and punched the shark 8 times in a row targeting its eyes, which ultimately led Chantelle to take her calf out of the Shark's mouth.

The horrifying incident accompanied by heroic save happened on the beach of Port Macquarie, four hours north of Sydney, Australia.

Consequences of shark bite on Chantelle

After going through three surgeries, Chantelle's left leg almost became a road map. However, the damage of only minor arteries helped her recover in about 300-400 days.
