Derek Jeter, one of the legends of the game, played his entire career with the New York Yankees. Throughout those years, he achieved plenty of accolades. After retirement, he tried his hands at other sports and realized how difficult is to be a professional in any sport. His advice to the alleged pro golfers is still relevant to this day. 

Jeter’s storied career

Jeter played for 20 years in MLB with the Yankees. During those years, he won 5 World Series, 5 Golden Glove Award, and many more. Moreover, he won the World Series MVP in 2000. In 2014, he decided to end his glorious career. In 2020, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. 

Jeter tried his hands at other sports

Jeter has always been a pretty good golfer. After retirement, he tried his hand at golf. He admitted to playing with Rickie Fowler, Tiger Woods, Justin Rose, and others and realized pro golfers are a different breed. Last year, he hosted the Derek Jeter Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament.
