NFL legend Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. With seven Super Bowl victories to his name, he has a mindset many would want to adapt for their game. Recently he was in an interview and he shed some light on being competitive and traits like that of many champions in sports. 

Tom Brady opens up about his mindset on the Let's Go podcast 

On SXM podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray with another guest Coach Prime, Tom Brady shared about what his mindset was when he went to play on the football field or even before the game when he was around peers. Brady mentioned that he loved seeing the competitiveness, and they were out there only for one reason, "to win" as that is what the game is all about.

He stated, "Mike Tyson wasn't trying to make friends, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan they weren't trying to make friends. You're out there to do the job. Tiger Woods wasn't trying to make friends, we weren't trying to make friends. You know, I love when I see other people like that. Man, I relate to them so much more than the guys hugging on the field every game."

Tom Brady shares his views about focusing on playing the game

The 5X MVP player shed light on his player spirit and stated, "Man, get that out of here. That was a bunch of BS. I wasn’t trying to love anyone, I'm trying to go off. I'm gonna kill you today is what I'm gonna do. Prime said it best.”
