Jalen Hurts’ One Incredible Move After the End of His College Career Helped Him Become the Highest-Paid NFL Player in History

Recently, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts bagged one of the biggest contracts in the history of the NFL. He did not have it easy, as the Eagles did not want him there in the first place. After taking the Eagles to a Super Bowl in the 2022 season, everything changed for him. Meanwhile, his one decision actually changed his fortune in terms of getting money.

Hurts’ amazing 2022 season

Last season for the Eagles, Hurts recorded 22 passing touchdowns and 13 rushing TDs in the regular season. As a result of his tremendous performance, the Eagles conquered the NFC division. In the Super Bowl, his heroics almost won them the trophy, as he had 4 TDs in a single game (1 passing and 3 rushing). Unfortunately, they did not win the Lombardi trophy, but he won a lot of money.

Eagles did not want to draft Hurts

In 2020, the Eagles drafted Hurts in the second round; however, they were not fully convinced about him. Speaking about that, Hurts recently said, “My first year here they probably didn’t even want me drafted here, It was probably one of those things. But it always handles itself.”

Hurts’ one decision changed his life

After Hurts finished college, an agent named Nicole Lynn sent him an Instagram DM. In that message, she said, “Hey, have you picked an agent? If not, I’d like to link.” Without a thought, he signed her as an agent. And now, he has become the highest-paid NFL player in history, grabbing $255 million in five years. Earlier, NFL investor, Joe Pompliano posted it on his social media.
