In the latest interview with SWNS, she told “I was training while I was in uni planning to be a barrister…But I became so invested in my fitness journey and I became so passionate about it that I actually ended up going towards the bodybuilding side as a bikini master.”

Mel left her law degree in the first year itself

Finding her love for the sport, she “ended up leaving my law degree in the first year because the way my life went with the fitness industry I decided that it was actually my true passion “.

Mel is looking forward to breaking the stigmas related to women performing the sport

She now sees herself as someone more than a bodybuilder. In fact, Wilkinson is working as a fitness trainer to guide and empower women around the world to achieve their dreams.
