Dominguez faces more than just a $15,000 fine. Petulant Delight's victory has been disqualified. Moreover, the 8-year-old gelding is now ineligible for six months starting May 24, 2023.

Dominguez's case is one of many recent revelations in horse racing, with seven other trainers suspended for banned substances. Thirteen new pending controlled substance violations have been posted on the Horseracing Integrity and Welfare Unit's (HIWU) website.
