After a next-to-neck match between Houston Texans and Kansas City, the results turned out to be in favor of the latter. With a 24–30 defeat, the Chiefs celebrated the AFC West for the seventh-straight year. Although it was not a good day for the Texans, it had the attention of its cheerleader and the world’s greatest gymnast, Simone Biles. 

Simone Biles is engaged to Houston Texans player, Jonathan Owens. Ever since the couple announced their relationship, they have been spotted accompanying each other at championships. Recently, Simone witnessed a classic Kansas vs Texans match on 18th December. Despite the results, she posted a special tweet for the team.

It was not a shameful loss for the Texans. They could have celebrated their win, had they overtaken Kansas with seven more points. Although that did not happen, Simone loyally cheered for her fiance’s team during the AFC West Championship. After the match, the four-time Olympic gold medallist took to Twitter to express her wish to do something for the team. She tweeted, “im an HTC @TexansCheer & I wanted to be on the field”

Her relationship with Owens has been very supportive and adorable. The couple supports each other during their career’s highs and lows. As an encouraging partner, Simone perfectly did what she could do best. Moreover, NFL fans were in deep appreciation for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The MVP player was responsible to push his team toward a well-deserved victory during the 21-16 lead into the fourth quarter.

How did Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens begin dating? 

Biles and Owens met during the 2020 pandemic on social media. Although Biles was a world-class gymnast, her fiancé barely knew her then. Moreover, the gymnast found the NFL player cute when she saw him on social media. On the other hand, Owens was impressed to see Biles with a huge fan following.

The couple began talking online and eventually met during the pandemic. They started dating and soon made their relationship public on Instagram in 2020. Inevitably, they caught great media attention and became one of the most loved couples in the public eye. In February 2022, the Owens and Biles got hitched.
