Oregon Hall of Fame equestrian passes away at age of 81

Equestrian Kevin Freeman, who also represented the American team at the Olympics, passed away at the age of 81 surrounded by his family.

The achievements of Olympic medalist equestrian

Freeman won the gold medal with the team and the silver medal at the individual level at the Pan American games while he also won a silver medal with the team at Tokyo Olympics in 1964 and another silver in 1968 in Mexico City.

Freeman's friend reminisces former teammate after his death

Bruce Davidson, Freeman's teammate during the 1972 Olympics, said, " A true gentleman. He was a friend...the best anyone could ever ask for."
