“F**king Embarrassing”: Hockey World Can’t Stand Violent Street Brawl Following a Heated NHL Game

Sparks were flying at the Rogers Arena, as the two NHL teams locked horns this Sunday. Vancouver Canucks vs Toronto Maple Leafs is a rivalry that goes beyond ice hockey. It is a rivalry that is so omnipresent in nature that its intensity doesn’t always limit itself to the premises of the stadium.

Canucks had comfortably beaten the Leafs by a 4–1 margin

Consequently, it ticked off some people. The fans took it upon themselves to settle it outside Rogers Arena, on the streets of British Columbia.

A full-on intense fight

It started with two men taking a swing at each other, while others intervened to break them up. As the street gained a crowd, the fight did not break up. Instead, it intensified.

Redditors condemn the violent fight

Some of the comments were, “Imagine landing those sucker-punches clean like that but the other guy not going down. F**king embarrassing”, “Over what man? Some people take these games way too seriously”, “I gotta be real…I LOLed when the guy did a jump punch” and “Why you h*ff to be mad”.
