A recent video call of the Montreal Canadien’s goaltender is becoming a matter of discussion across different platforms. The Facebook post by Hockey Night in Canada revealed that the call was not just an ordinary fan interaction. The goaltender was seen talking to a die-heart fan, a woman who was a cancer patient.

Shirley Wischee Moar has been diagnosed with brain tumors. The Cree woman from Quebec is going through the most difficult phase of her life. However, her favorite team’s goalie made sure that she had a big smile on her face. In a 10-minute video call, Price made sure that the woman forgot about her struggles and felt good.

So compassionate!” she wrote. Another fan wished for Shirley’s health and applauded Price’s step. “What a beautiful human being Carey Price is! Wishing you the best Shirley Moar” he wrote. 

Another fan brought up the underlying impact of this deed on the patient. “Shirley will never forget what Carry Price did for her…a little light in her life and I’m sure it was a bright light.”, they wrote. Price’s call has set a new example of how a small act by the stars can prove to be the biggest motivation for their fans.
