String of strange events at Newport Beach

When Mackie was on the beach, strangely, the weather was gloomy, the surfers were absent, and a flock of birds were circling the area. However, ignoring all the signs, she paddled out.

Approximately 30 minutes later, she spotted something thrashing about 20 feet beyond the waves. It was a shark. Fortunately, a passing lifeguard boat came to her rescue just in time.
