Wayne Gretzky Memorabilia Theft Case Sees Progress with Recovery of Stolen Items Worth $100,000

The craze of the NHL in Canada is insane. On top of that, Wayne Gretzky is considered the ultimate hero in Canadian territory. However, this love of people often leads them to crimes. In a similar case, hockey memorabilia worth a million dollars were stolen last year. However, the RCMP has achieved a lead in the theft case.

In April 2022, a man named Aron Gratias reported the theft of his hockey memorabilia collection worth USD 1000,000 from Shellbrook, Sask, Canada.

RCMP reported that a 41-year-old in Shellbrook has been charged with possession of stolen property obtained by theft over USD 5,000.

The RCMP has estimated that they have recovered three-quarters of the hockey memorabilia along with other valuable hockey collectibles that were reported stolen by other people.
