There are quite a few Superstars currently in tag teams who would do great on their own. Some of them have already done so, while others have the skills to have a successful singles career. Let's look at 5 wrestlers who should break away from tag team wrestling and move to singles competition!
5. The Miz
The Miz is one of WWE's most reliable and consistent performers. He has remained an 8-time Champion for over two years now. It is time for The Miz to equal the record of 9 IC title victories.
3. Montez Ford
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins make a fine team, but the former could make it huge on his own as well. Ford has the mic skills, athleticism, and in-ring work to become a megastar in WWE. And while Dawkins complements him perfectly, there is no doubt over who the star of The Street Profits really is.
1. Big E
A couple of weeks ago, the former NXT Champion showed what he can do on his own when he won the SmackDown tag titles in a regular triple threat match. Big E has also shown some incredible fire on several occasions, particularly when he destroyed Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules 2019. Kofi Kingston got his run as the WWE Champion, but now it is time for WWE to push his tag team partner. Big E has been ready for years, and it will be interesting to see how well a singles run for him would go.
